Our friends the Martins

There was a lovely article in November's edition of the California Thoroughbred Breeder's Association's publication. It features our friends Perry and Denise Martin who owned double winner of Horse of the Year title California Chrome before selling him to Japan to expand his breeding prospects. 

We got to know the Martins when they sent California Chrome to us after winning the Dubai World Cup in 2016 in order to prepare for Royal Ascot. It was a real privilege to have him at Chestnut Tree Stables and to develop a relationship with Perry and Denise.

We are looking forward to having one of Chrome's progeny, a filly out of Berryessa, a mare Rae trained in joint ownership with the Martin's. She will travel over next year accompanied by the Martins.
