Double Success

We had a cracking day yesterday with two very convincing wins.

Firstly, MIDNIGHTLY, owned and bred by Mr Chris Mills, also the owner/breeder of our veteran MIRZA, ran a cracking race at Wolverhampton in the afternoon with Martin Harley guiding her nicely to victory. She catapulted herself out of the stalls and got in front from the get go, staying on with determination to the end and getting a second win on her record. Unfortunately, Charlotte Dziadosz who normally looks after the filly couldn't be there to enjoy the success but she has some celebrations of her own having got married the weekend before and still enjoying her honeymoon!

We then had SALT WHISTLE BAY also getting his second win, this time at Newmarket in the 6:50. Silvestre de Sousa was on board again following their success at Lingfield last time out and got him in a strong position hitting the front quite a way out and then held on well to the post. Jointly owned by Rae with Mr & Mrs John Worboys it was a very exciting evening for all connections and finished off a successful day for the yard. Well done to Shahzad the groom also.
